For the next few weeks I’ll be on a mission to find and post cocktails that will be great for the holidays! I came across this cocktail recipe while searching for Thanksgiving sweet potato recipes, and I was intrigued by the addition of maple syrup to a good old glass of whiskey. I tried it, I loved it, and it’s perfect to hand out to your adult guests on the day of thanks!
Cheers!
What you’ll need:
- 2 oz of rye or bourbon (I used Knob Creek)
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
- Maraschino cherries
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice, shake well. Pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
