Is it hot enough for you yet? Half the country is positively burning up! Temperatures are at a record high. I don’t suggest to consume much alcohol during a major heat wave, because of course it can make things so much worse. But if you are in an area where it’s “just” summery hot, I have a great cocktail recipe for you to cool you down after a long, hot day. Tequila works especially well in the summertime, so let’s add some citrus flavors to it, and we have a hit!

What you’ll need:
- 1 1/2 oz Don Julio Añejo
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
- 3/4 oz Wholesome Agave Syrup
- fresh mint leaves
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint leaves.
Cheers!
