I’m all for quick dinner ideas, especially in the hot summer months. It just gets too hot in the kitchen to cook a lengthy, elaborate meal. This recipe is fast, simple and delicious. It only has a few ingredients, and as for the shrimp, I used pre-cooked ones, just to make it even faster. It’s a perfect dish for a weeknight dinner, or on the weekend for a nice dinner with friends or family. It literally only takes about 20 minutes to prepare this, so get cooking!

What you’ll need:
- 1 package of Barilla Spaghetti
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 stick of Land O Lakes butter
- 1/2 cup Farmland Half & Half
- 8 oz fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 tsp fresh pepper
- pre-cooked (frozen) shrimp
- dried or fresh (chopped) parsley

Prepare your pasta according to the instructions on the package. Add shallot and butter to the pan. Sauté for 3 minutes.

Add Half and Half, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low/medium, and simmer for five minutes. Add paremsan cheese. Stir until hot and incorporated into the sauce.

Add black pepper. Add she precooked shrimp. Stir well and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add the hot pasta. Stir. Transfer to a large bowl, and garnish with parsley.

Bon Appétit!
