#DOTW: Samoa Martini

I’m pretty sure we all have at least one friend that sells Girl Scout cookies for their children. What a blessing they are, bringing all that yummy goodness into our lives, giving us a really good excuse to cheat on our diets! Being the eternal bartender, of course I had to turn my favorite cookie into a Martini. I just can’t help myself. It turned out pretty yummy! FYI you can exchange the coconut vodka with Malibu Coconut rum, if you like it a little less strong. Also if you care to up the coconut flavor, get some coconut extract from the baking isle in your supermarket and have fun!

Cheers!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Smirnoff Coconut Vodka (or quality coconut vodka of your choice)
  • 1 1/2 oz Godiva Dark Chocolate
  • 1 1/2 oz Godiva Caramel
  • Samoas cookies, ground up in a blender or food processor

Garnish the rim of a Martini glass with the ground cookies. Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into the Martini glass.
