Shrimp Alfredo

Everybody loves Shrimp Alfredo. I think. Well, I have never met anyone that doesn’t. And if the people who love it knew how easy it is to make, we would have a lot more happy people on this planet. For me, personally, this is one of my quick go-to recipes for a week night meal, because it is fast, simple, and it fills you, all while making everyone happy. Let’s make it together!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound of fettucine, cooked
  • 1 pound large shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 4 tbsp Land o’ Lakes butter
  • 2 cups Cream o Land heavy cream
  • 4 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley, chopped

Cook the pasta according to the instruction on the package.

Add a bit of olive oil to a pan, then add the shrimp. Season with salt and pepper. Cook forabout 2 minutes on each side, until they are pink, Add parsley. Move the shrimp to a separate plate, and set aside.

Heat the butter in a large sauce pan. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the heavy cream and stir while heating over medium/high heat. Add parmesan cheese.

Add the shrimp back into the sauce. Stir. Add the cooked pasta and stir well to combine.

Bon Apétit!
