Baked Herb Tomato Chicken

Here’s on of my go-to recipes! I’ve had this recipe in my repertoire for years. It is 100% delicious, and fairly easy to make. It also is pretty inexpensive! Prepare during the day, the just pop it into the oven at dinner time, and you are good to go. Easy does it!

What you’ll need:

  • 4 chicken legs (thighs and drumsticks)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Preheat the oven at 350°.

Cut off excess fat from the chicken legs. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken. Lay chicken in a baking dish. Mix together the oil, chili sauce, white wine, garlic and parsley, and baste the chicken with some of the sauce.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°, while basting the chicken at least every 10 minutes (until you run out of sauce). Remove the chicken from the oven, and turn on the broiler. Add the chicken (inside the baking dish) to the broiler, and let it blacken for a few minutes. Careful, the broiler works fast, don’t burn your chicken. Serve with anything you like!

Bon Appétit!
