DOTW: Winter Margarita

Tequila is pretty much a summer drink, but if you really like it, then there’s no problem drinking it all year. I usually switch from Blanco to Reposado or Añejo during the colder season, the earthiness seems more appropriate. This Winter Margarita hits the spot, I love it so much! It’s super delicious and fun. I used fresh Blood Oranges in this cocktail, and it made it so much better, but I know they are not easy to come by, so feel free to use store bought juice. My go-to is usually San Pellegrino, it works well with cocktails.

What you’ll need:

In a martini shaker, combine the tequila with the Agave nectar. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Add lime and blood orange juice. garnish with sliced lime and/or blood orange.

Cheers!
