DOTW: Siggi’s Mule

I love a good Mule in the summer, especially because the copper mugs stay so nice and cold. There are so many variations to the mules, but I wanted a brand new one. So I looked at cocktail menus in Europe, and how they master new libations. I came across this cocktail, and I love the ingredients, and how they add and switch to upgrade this classic drink. Lime, cucumber and mint and undoubtedly cooling, and in this weather, nothing can be more appropriate!

What you’ll need:

In a martini shaker, muddle one slice of cucumber, mint, and one slice of lime. Add ice and gin, shake well. Add ice to the copper mug, and strain contents of the shaker into the cup. Top off with ginger beer. Garnish with lime, cucumber and/or mint leaf.

Cheers!
