Well, winter is officially over, but I’m still going to squeeze one more winter cocktail in here. As a matter of fact, being that it’s in the family of Daiquiris, it doesn’t seem entirely inappropriate. It’s the cinnamon that make it wintery, but somehow I think this is the perfect gateway drink into the spring. Choose a darker rum for color and earthiness, and I promise you’ll want more than one. Happy Spring!

What you’ll need:
- 2 oz Appleton Rum
- 2 oz freshly squeezed clementine juice
- 1 oz maple syrup
- cinnamon sticks
Shake all liquid ingredients with a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Crumble a cinnamon stick, then sprinkle over the cocktail.
