#DOTW: Summer Breeze

I’m pretty sure it can’t get any more perfect than this. It’s a summer breeze for heaven’s sake. Can you see yourself sitting outside? On a rocking chair? Sipping out of a Mason jar? A warm summer breeze gently stroking your face? Well, I can. This cocktail resembles this summery peace with a sweet Bourbon smile. Add as much fresh squeezed orange juice as you like, but just a touch is just enough to love it, I promise.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Maker’s Mark (or quality bourbon of your choice)
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 squeeze of fresh orange juice
  • ginger ale

This is an easy assembly. Just add all Maker’s Mark, Cointreau and fresh orange juice in a Mason jar over ice, then top off with ginger ale. Add an orange slice as garnish.

Cheers!
