#DOTW: Añejo Honey Lemon Margarita

I have never seen a more perfect cocktail to adorn the transition from this looooong winter to the impending spring! I have made all kinds of versions of margaritas, and this is definitely one of my faves! Watch out, it’s strong! If you prefer it a little on the lighter side, do add some sour mix. Add a little green food coloring for St. Patrick’s Day…..

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz 1800 Añejo Tequila (Or Añejo Tequila of your choice)
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier
  • 3/4 oz honey
  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • lemon slice or peel for garnish

Add all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake very well (the honey takes a minute to incorporate). Rim half of the glass with rock salt. Add ice to the glass, then pour in Añejo mixture. Garnish with lemon.
