#DOTW: Graftron Bramble

This Irish cocktail is named after a street in Dublin that traditionally is the center for holiday stuff and things during the winter season, which of course makes this a winter cocktail. Let’s disregard that the holidays themselves have passed. Tradtion has it that the ladies of Ireland would stick a spoonful of jam into their gin back then, and this is a twist on that tradition!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz MaCallan 18 (or Irish Whiskey of your choice)
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 spoonful berry jam

Combine whiskey, lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well. Pour over ice into a short glass. Add a spoonful of berry jam, but do not stir.

Cheers!
