Hot Chai Tea Toddy

Ready for the snow? Here in New York City it’s about to come down. Stay in tonight. Or even tomorrow night. I’d say warm up by a cozy Fireplace, but most of us here in the city defenitely don’t own one. So. Curl up on your sofa, watch a good movie, and watch the snow come down through your window while having a Hot Toddy. A Hot Chai Tea Toddy of course. It’s such a delicious twist on the Toddy, it’s going to warm you up inside out!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Hendrick’s Gin (or quality gin of your choice)
  • 2 oz apple juice
  • 1 cup chai tea
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • honey
  • cinnamon sticks

Warm the apple juice, one cinnamon stick and honey in a pan. Brew a cup of chai tea. Add gin, chai tea and apple juice mix into a mug or tea glass. Stir with the cinnamon stick and enjoy. (I’ll leave the amount of honey needed up to you, depending on how sweet you like it. Personally I used 1 tbsp per tea!)
