Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting cocktails that are suitable for Thanksgiving dinner! This one works very well for your festivities, and if you like it, it might just work for Christmas as well. The recipe calls for muddling of the fruit and mint, but since I’m always tempted to save everyone some time, do like I do, and chop it up, with the lime juice, in a food processor, if you are having to serve larger quantities. Unless you have the time to muddle, then of course please do!
Cheers!
What you’ll need:
- 1 1/2 oz Brugal (or premium white rum of your choice)
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 2 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp sugar
- squeeze of fresh lime juice
- club soda
Muddle cranberries, mint and lime juice. Pour over ice with the rum, top off with club soda. Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves.
