Garlic Bread NYC

It’s a girl’s comfort food! Garlic Bread is is the bird’s bees, everyone I know loves it. But for some reason, this little bite of sunshine became a staple for girls and women alike, we search it out, we wiggle in our chairs, it can literally replace a whole meal, if in the mood. I mean, of course there is so much garlic bread available in New York City, and it is not that hard to make a good one, but there are always a few that are rising above the rest. I 100% have my own favorites. Here is my list of “don’t touch my garlic bread”, even though the last two are actually garlic knots (which are really just tiny garlic breads). Enjoy!

Maison Pickle

OMG. Absolute favorite. So fluffy, so flavorful. I go to Mason Pickle just to sit at the bar and have garlic bread and a glass of wine. It is called Pull Apart Bread, and my favorite version is obviously Garlic and Parmesan, but other versions are Honey and Butter or Feta and Olive. $18. So good.

Vic’s

Vic’s is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city, I have spent a couple of birthdays there now. So nice, food is so good. Their version of garlic bread is more of a flat bread situation, with tons of roasted garlic, chili, parmigiano and parsley. It’s the size of a medium pizza, so it’s very shareable (if they insist). Two thumbs up. $15

Carmine’s

If you don’t love Carmine’s, we can’t be friends. Probably. I have spent many of my children’s birthdays there, the family style meals are so perfect for celebrations, besides being super delicious. We Always order the garlic bread (half regular, half with melted mozzarella cheese), and we never leave even a crumb. Addictive. $19.95

Rubirosa

Rubirosa is a very popular restaurant in the Little Italy area, and they are mostly known for their amazing pizza. But don’t sleep on their garlic knots! They are drenched in garlic and parmesan, have your napkins ready. It is accompanied by a delicious tomato sauce dip, they are top notch. $13

Upside Pizza

Upside Pizza is one of my favorite pizzerias in a sea of pizzerias in New York City. That’s not an easy task. Some are just better than others, and this one is. The same goes for their garlic knots. Their Butter Crust makes all of the difference, they are rich and delicious! $1 each, 4/$3.50.
