DOTW: Cointreau Mule

Today is the first day above 90 degrees here in New York City. It’s a beautiful day, and it happens to be Saturday. Can it get better than this? I doubt it. I’m about to get ready for a relaxing evening. Due to a lack of backyard here in the Bronx, I’m planning on sitting out on my stoops tonight, chatting with my neighbors, sipping on something delicious. What will I sip on, you ask? A Cointreau Mule. It’s so light and rerfreshing! It literally is the perfect summer cocktail.

What you’ll need:

Fill a copper mug with ice, then add the Cointreau. Top off with Ginger Beer. If you like, you can muddle some mint leaves ahead of time, and add them to the bottom of the cocktail. Squeeze in lime juice, stir. Garnish with lime slice and/or mint leaf.

Cheers!
