DOTW: Raspberry Beret

I’m always on the lookout for a new cocktail, at least new to me. I also like to align the cocktails with the year’s seasons, and spring is here, as I can attest with my allergies. Not only did this drink look appropriate for the time of years, but the name Raspberry Beret caught my eye. First of all I love anything raspberry, and second of all: Raspberry Beret is one of my favorite song by the music artist Prince. So, yeah, it’s a no-brainer in my book. Make sure you have fresh eggs on hand, I’m guessing most people like their egg whites as fresh as possible!

What you’ll need:

Combine all ingredients, except club soda, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a coupe glass. Top off with club soda. Garnish with fresh raspberries.

I have never missed an episode of the Bravo TV show. I have at this point visited almost 20 restaurants run by Top Chef contestants, and I'm continuously impressed by their skill, drive and passion. So I will continue to seek them out, and I hope you join me in my journey!
