In my years and years of bartending in NYC, I have a long list of requested cocktails and cocktail recipes. Of course the most requested ones are simple like gin and tonic, rum and coke and the likes. But then there are cocktails that are more specific, and take a couple of more ingredients. The most requested cocktail in that sense is probably the Long Island Iced Tea, even though I don’t really get it. It doesn’t taste good, has way too many ingredients that don’t compliment each other, and it just really gets you drunk for the least amount of money possible. So. Scratch that one. But then there’s the Washington Apple. Lots of people ask how to make that one, because it’s delicious, really tastes like an apple, and is super fun. It’s totally easy to make, it uses three ingredients, and anyone can make it!

What you’ll need:
- 2 oz Crown Royal Apple (regular Crown Royal will work just fine as well)
- 1 oz Apple Pucker
- 2 oz Ocean Spray Cranberry juice
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Add all ingredients and shake well. Strain into a Martini glass. Drop in a thin slice of apple, or garnish with an apple peel.
Cheers!
