I don’t know about you, but I’ve been unemployed since March, and the level of boredom is hitting unseen heights. Even my go-to cocktail are getting boring. If there is one thing I have enough of, it’s time. So I’m constantly cruising the internet, finding new recipes for sensible dinners, and definitely cocktails. Everyone loves a whiskey sour, but I’m always in the mood to stir things up, so how about an Orange Whiskey Sour? It sounded good to me, and I can now confirm, it also tastes good. As usual this cocktail takes minimum effort and just a few ingredients, we’re keeping it simple here!

What you’ll need”
- 2 oz of Macallan 18
- 1 oz of freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup (if you like it very sweet)
Squeeze an orange (or more for more cocktails). Add ice to a cocktail glass and then add the whiskey. Pour in the simple syrup (if using), then top off with the juices. Stir well. Garnish with an orange slice.
Cheers!
