#DOTW: El Chapo

It’s Saturday! You know what that means: It’s cocktail time. Gin is especially refreshing in the warmer months, and I found you guys a great cocktail containing just that! It’s bitter-sweet, just like the end of summer! I couldn’t get enough of this drink, and I suspect neither will you. Bitterness from the Aperol meshing with the sweetness of the grapefruit beer, topped oft with the sourness of the strawberries, makes this a complete cocktail with all flavor profiles to complete your weekend. Chances are: it’s just what you need…

What you’ll need:

Infuse the April by cutting fresh 4 strawberries into quarters, then add them to a jar with 8 oz of gin. Infuse for 2 to 4 hours.

Add strawberry infused Aperol and Gin to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Add ice to a highball glass. Strain liquid of the shaker into glass. Top off with grapefruit beer. Garnish with strawberries.

Cheers!
