#DOTW: Jalisco Mule

Sometimes you just have to make a cocktail that fills up the beautiful cups you bought a few months ago. I’ve had these standing in my kitchen, staring at me daily, begging to be filled with something yummy. These gorgeous copper cups are traditionally used for mules, and I found the most delicious recipe involving tequila blanco, so of course I had to share it with you! The mint leaves are purely decorative, even though I wouldn’t think you’re 100 percent crazy if you decided to muddle a few and add them to the drink. But keeping it simple is what this cocktail is all about!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Don Julio tequila (or quality tequila of your choice)
  • 1 oz freshly. squeezed lime juice
  • Fentiman’s Ginger Beer
  • fresh mint leaves

Fill the copper cup with ice, then add tequila and lime juice. Top off with ginger beer. garnish with lime slice and fresh mint leaves.

Cheers!
