#DOTW: Chambord Sidecar

It’s official: spring is here. As you might know by now, I like to line up my cocktails with the seasons, the weather, the holiday. I think most bartenders or recipe creators do that, and yes, spring is here. So, this week’s cocktail is a little on the lighter side, matching the warm weather today. I don’t know about you, but I love me a good old fashioned Sidecar, and this one ups the ante just a bit. It’s delicious and upbeat, and you should have a few tonight!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Remy 1738 (or quality cognac of your choice)
  • 1 oz Chambord
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • splash of simple syrup

Combine all ingredients in a Martini shaker with ice, shake well. Pour into Martini glass and garnish with a lemon slice and a raspberry.

Cheers!
