#DOTW: Cranberry Gin

Another perfect cocktail for the holidays! I don’t know about you, but I love cranberries, and I love gin, so this seems like a logical combo  for me. The cranberries in this cocktail are supposed to be muddled, but they are usually pretty hard, so I ended up putting them in the food processor with some fresh lemon juice, and it worked fantastically. Add simple syrup if you like it a little sweeter, cranberries are very tart!

  • 2 oz Boodles Gin (or quality gin of your choice
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • fresh mint leaves
  • fresh cranberries
  • optional simple syrup

Muddle or blend 4 cranberries per drink with the fresh lemon juice. Pour into a highball glass, then muddle again with a mint leaf. Add ice, gin and cranberry juice, stir. garnish with lemon and another mint leaf.

Cheers!
