I love pickles, I love Bulleit Bourbon. I wasn’t sure if I would like it together, but you know what? It’s pretty good! Lately I’ve been hearing about people doing shots with pickle juice back, I got very curious, and this cocktail is the result of my booze and pickle juice research. Don’t get it twisted, it’s not your average Vodka Cranberry, and some of you might scoff at this, but it’s what the kids do these days, and they’re definitely on to something. I like it!

What you’ll need:

  • 3 oz Bulleit Bourbon (or quality Bourbon of your choice)
  • 1 oz dill pickle juice
  • juice of half a lemon
  • Old Bay seasoning for rim
  • Cornichons for garnish
  • lemon slices for garnish

Combine Bourbon, pickle juice, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Wet the rim with lemon juice and dip into Old Bay seasoning. Fill with ice and strain the drink into the glass. Garnish with a lemon slice and a Cornichon.
