#DOTW: Coquito

If you have any friends from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, then I’m guessing you have already had a taste of Coquito for the holidays. This delicious and creamy concoction has caused major fun at major holiday parties. I have taste tested numerous versions, I have researched plenty, and the following recipe is what I came up with, sticking to the original recipe as much as possible. But then honestly, I’m not exactly sure what the original recipe is!! Well, this recipe makes a very velvety, coconutty cocktail that I know you will love!

Cheers!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of white Coconut Bacardi (regular white Bacardi will do, if you can’t find the coconut version)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (15 oz) can cream of coconut (preferably Coco Lopez)
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients and serve chilled or over ice! Happy Holidays!
