#DOTW: Apples and Pears

One of my favorite fruits is the good old pear, but besides the (very yummy) Pear Martini, there aren’t a lot of cocktails out there that incorporate this delicious fruit. Since we just stepped into autumn, I really wanted to find one, and I did; This cocktail takes a bit of prep in the kitchen. Enjoy!

Cheers!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 1/2 oz Hendrick’s Gin (or quality gin of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp apple/pear mix
  • club soda optional

Remove the cores of 4 ripe pears and 2 green apples. Add them to a blender or food processor to create a puree. Add the juice of one lemon and 4 tbsp honey.

In a Martini shaker mix gin with apple/pear mix. Pour over ice and top off with club soda if desired. Garnish with rosemary twigs.
