This might be my favorite Halloween cocktail so far! It just looks awesome, and at the end of the day, it really just tastes like a great Margarita, which happens to be my favorite cocktail. Make sure you get the black salt to go with it, it’s the one thing that puts this cocktail over the top. If you can make a Margarita, you can make this cocktail, and if you don’t, just follow the instructions below. It will be the hit of your spooky holiday party!
What you’ll need:
- 2 oz Don Julio Blanco
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Rose’s Lime Juice
- a couple of squeezes of fresh lime juice
- 1 drop McCormick Black Food Coloring
- black salt for the rim
- lime slice for garnish
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Add Don Julio, Cointreau, Rose’s Lime Juice, cranberry juice and fresh lime juice. Shake well. Garnish the rim of a Martini or Margarita glass with black salt. Strain contents of shaker into the glass. Garnish with a lime slice.
