Let’s get little classy. Old Fashioned cocktails have been around forever and a day, it’s the ultimate classic. So let’s try one with a twist. Tequila. Añejo to be exact. It’s just so delicious. With the warmer months on the horizon, I feel that this cocktail is a perfect bridge from summer to fall. Sip with me on this yummy drink!
What you’ll need:
- 3 oz Don Julio Añejo
- 1 tsp Wholesome Blue Agave
- 1 dash Angosura Bitters
- orange peel
- Maraschino cherry
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the orange peel, agave and bitters. Add the tequila and ice, shake well. Add fresh ice to a cocktail glass, then strain contents into the glass. Garnish with an orange peel and/or a Maraschino cherry.
