I don’t know if you have noticed, but especially in the warmer months of the year, you will find cocktails with Aperol at the bars and local watering holes. I think it’s just delicious as an additive to your summer refreshments. Everyone knows the Aperol Spritz (which I will highlight later this season). I did however have this particular drink at function over the weekend, and I fell in love with its fruitiness and refreshing components. Of course I had to immediately share it with you!
What you’ll need:
- 2 oz Hendrick’s Gin
- 1 oz Aperol
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in a martini shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.
