It's getting waaaarmer! I can feel energy refueling my body and mind. I'm definitely a sufferer of the winter blues. The high 40"s after this dismal winter seems like the Caribbean to me. And of course I see Icecream on the horizon.
Aaaah, the Bronx. You either love it or you hate it, but then again most people don't know it. Personally, I love it here. It's the soul of New York City. It's still authentic and pure. Don't be scared. It's raw and real. It is New York. Our food is served in big portions, just like our passions. It's authentic, just like our residents, who lived here for decades. It's traditional, just like our mothers. It's versatile, just like our neighbors. Don't be scared, come and eat.

A cinnamon bun can honestly make your day. So simple, but full of homey flavor. Bourke Street Bakery probably makes the best one.
I'm picky when it comes to food these days, my pallet has changed over the four years I've been blogging about what to eat. When it comes to fried chicken, I'm not really going for the chain restaurants any more. This Crispy Fried Chicken is more like my cup of tea. Can't wait for Root & Bone to reopen.
