Cream of Turkey Soup

Advertisements

If you’re anything like me, then you cooked way too much for Thanksgiving. And no matter how many people you have over for dinner, there’s always turkey left over. You’ll be eating turkey sandwiches for quite a while, unless you come up with a different idea. Which is where I come in. Just a few slices of turkey and a few simple ingredients, and you’ll have a nice pot of warm soup!

What you’ll need:

In a large pot melt the butter. Add the onion and sauté for 3 minutes, then add garlic. Sauté for another minute.

Slowly add the chicken broth and stir. Simmer for 5 minutes. With an immersion blender, smooth out the soup. Add milk and turkey, simmer for 5 minutes. Add paprika and garlic powder, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
